Geoff is the Founder / President of Op2mize. He is an award-winning digital real estate strategist with over 23 years and $1 billion of transaction and advisory experience. He is the Past President of both SIOR-Chicago and AIRE, and has served on numerous Boards including SIOR-National and the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. In addition to being a nationally recognized speaker and writer, he is a LEED AP, an SIOR, a Cisco Registered Partner, a Citrix Solutions Advisor, and a DQI Trailblazer. He coaches youth baseball, supports Northbrook District 28 technology initiatives, and enjoys digital photography and traveling with his family.

Robert J. Jericho, PE, LEED AP, MBA

Robert is the Senior Managing Director, Sustainable Services of Op2mize. Previously, Robert was the Project Manager with Joseph Freed Associates for 108 N. State Street (Block 37), a LEED-ND mixed-use development on a brownfield site in downtown Chicago. Robert began his career at Environmental Systems Design, Inc. leaving as a Senior Associate having managed many high profile projects for value-driven developers. Following an MBA from the University of Michigan, he was a Partner at Inovo Technologies, an innovation consulting firm. This unique combination of skills and experience gives Robert an unmatched perspective and approach to solving new and existing business problems. He earned a BS from Washington University in St. Louis. Robert is an avid cyclist and runner with more than 10 marathons to his credit.

Thomas A. Bueltmann
Senior Managing Director and General Counsel

Tom is a Senior Managing Director and General Counsel of Op2mize. Tom's focus is on representing office space users and owners by leveraging his development, project management, and legal advisory experience to uniquely create value. Previously, Tom was the General Counsel and Project Manager at Beitler Real Estate Corporation, and was a Summer Associate at Richards, Kibbe & Orbe in New York City. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Political Science and earned a JD at the University of Illinois. Tom is currently an active member of the Illinois State Bar and the Board of Directors of the Columbia University Club of Chicago. His LEED Green Associate credentials are currently pending. Tom enjoys fishing and golf in his spare time.

Matthew B. Banks
Research Intern

Matt is spending the summer working with the Op2mize team, supporting all of our research, analyses, database, graphics, web programming and special projects needs. Matt is a 2010 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning. While in Tempe, AZ, Matt worked at the Pera Club as an extension of the Salt River Project (SRP) Electric Company, and at Cactus Sports in a retail sales capacity. He grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago where he spent his summers as a Coach and Counselor at Horner Grove Day Camp and the JCYS. His LEED Green Associate credentials are currently pending. Matthew never misses ESPN's Sports Center or any professional or college sporting event that he can catch.

Reino E. Salmi
Facility Modeling and Simulation

Reino is in charge of facility modeling and dynamic simulation for Op2mize. Trained as a mechanical engineer, he is an accomplished operational efficiency expert, primarily focusing on sophisticated manufacturing and distribution clientele such as Wrigley, USG, Ingersoll-Rand, Clairol, Cooper Tire, and Bagcraft, among others. He has over 19 years of project experience. Previously he was with Republic Windows and Jacobs-Sverdrup. He is currently working on his Six Sigma green belt. He earned his BSME from the University of Illinois and an MSME from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is an avid runner and supporter of youth hockey.
